The Larry Stevens Band

... a modern rock sound comprised of full-time musicians playing everything from rock-pop originals to a variety of cover songs, has been busy booking shows throughout the New York tri-state area. Larry Stevens, the band’s songwriter, front man, and lead singer, collaborated with several of the music industry's greatest writers and musicians to create his latest album Mercer Street. The new CD hit the shelves in 2011, and follows in the legacy of his popular albums Downstairs at Mayo's, Heart of a Fighter and Our Country. Larry has been busy performing up and down the East Coast promoting the new CD, and is excited to share his music along with many of the band's current and classic favorites.

Larry recently had the privilege of opening for such artists as Huey Lewis, Kenny Loggins, Foreigner, and Todd Rundgren at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, New Jersey. In March 2011 he was the featured artist on "Artist Spotlight" on WHUD 100.7 FM, has performed on a live webcast from The Rutledge in Nashville, and is a frequent guest on a popular morning show on WFDU 89.1 FM radio. In addition, Larry was honored to perform for our wounded warriors at The Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, DC.

The band has been busy performing at various concert series, festivals and events, and enjoys a loyal fanbase at popular venues across the northeast. Some of their highlights include opening for Peter Frampton and sharing the stage with The Doobie Brothers at an outdoor concert in Readington, NJ. Additionally, Larry was bestowed the honor of being inducted into the prestigious New York Friars Club. His band is composed of upbeat, creative full-time musicians who put their special musical twist on a variety of cover songs ranging from Van Morrison to Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Eric Clapton, and John Mayer, along with Larry's original work. Larry enjoys connecting with audiences of all ages, making his fans feel included in the performance.
